GRC ELECTS NEW BOARD MEMBERS, OFFICERS AND HONORS
RETIRING BOARD MEMBERS.
Greenville, SC.- At its Annual Meeting the Greenville Revitalization Corporation elected
Lawrence Black, developer of Greer Mill and Southern Bleachery in Taylors, and Nick
Hollstegge, Senior Associate with CBRE, to its Board. Steven Bryant was elected as
Board Chairman, Lawrence Black Treasurer and Charlotte Osmer Secretary.
GRC established the “Joe Erwin Chairman’s Award” in honor of its first Board Chairman
and long serving Board Member, Joe Erwin which will be given, annually, to that individual or organization that has been the most supportive of GRC during the year. GRC also established the “David Doser Community Service Award” in honor to its initial and long serving Board Member David Doser to that individual or organization who has been most supportive and helpful to the communities served by GRC and its projects.
These awards were established to honor the faithful work and diligent service of Mr. Erwin and Mr. Doser; their contributions of time and other resources were instrumental to creating and sustaining GRC over its initial 7 years. GRC is a non-profit tax-exempt organization formed in 2012 by the Greenville County Redevelopment Authority to create economic opportunity in the Textile Crescent and other disadvantaged areas of Greenville County.
