In this role, DiGiacomo will provide global location consulting services for manufacturing and industrial companies looking to add capacity, anywhere in the world. She will also advise economic development clients on foreign direct investment attraction and industrial site readiness and competitiveness.

DiGiacomo joins GLS with nearly a decade of experience in the economic development field. After graduate school, DiGiacomo began her career at the Small Business Development Center in Orlando where she managed research and data analytics, export marketing plan services, and government contract procurement. She then joined Enterprise Florida, the state’s chief economic development organization. While there she was Director of Business Development for the life sciences industry establishing projects resulting in over 2,000 new or retained jobs, $110 million in capital investment, and incentive negotiations. She later returned to her hometown of Highlands County where she restructured and led the County’s Economic Development Department. DiGiacomo earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and an MBA from the University of Central Florida.
