It’s happening y’all . . . Upstate SC LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, Vibration Yoga, and 864pride are hosting a holistic health fair on Saturday, September 10, 2022, free to the public at the Queer Wellness Center, located in Greenville from 10 am to 4 pm.
“We are so happy to bring together so many providers for the Upstate’s first ever inclusive Holistic Health Fair,” said Tyler Prescott the CEO of the Upstate SC LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce “This collaboration represents a true paradigm shift for the LGBTQ+ community as business owners, healthcare providers and community leaders come together in support of the health and wellness of folks traditionally marginalized in society.”
More than 25 LGBTQ+ affirming providers will be on-site throughout the day to offer free yoga and breathwork classes along with sound healing, reiki, tarot readings, vaccines, and other services. From noon to 2 pm, local providers will be available for discussions regarding community-based organizations including medical, mental health, physical health, and occupational services available to help individuals reach their personal and professional goals.

EVENT SCHEDULE
10 AM-Noon & 2-4 PM
Book an affirming provider and receive services at the QWC. Book a sound healing, yoga, massage, chiropractor, or voice training session, or get a vaccine with a pre-screened affirming provider.
Noon - 2pm
Not ready to book an appointment? Meet affirming providers and talk to them directly. Therapists, doctors, and other service providers will be on-hand to answer questions prior to sessions. Service providers will be available at their booths to discuss how they have structured their practices.
11 AM-Noon
LGBTQ+ Employer Cultural Humility Training (valued at $250 per person and included in provider registration): Join trainers from 864 Pride as they help business owners and people managers navigate LGBTQ+ cultural and LGBTQ+ sensitivity topics in the workplace.
2-3 pm:
Hear from panelists on how you can build a safe and affirming practice for your trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming customers and employees. This panel is no additional charge to registered providers to attend.
