Furman Professor of Voice and Director of Lyric Theatre Grant Knox will stage a retelling of “Romeo and Juliet” Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 8 p.m. in Daniel Recital Hall on campus. The event, “Romeo and Juliet Remix,” is free and open to the public.

The production is a musical/operatic performance involving voice students enrolled in MUS-355, opera performance studies. For the staging, the class has taken a number of opera and musical theatre excerpts to create a whole new look for the classic.
