Fox Rothschild LLP is pleased to announce that Harriet P. Wallace has joined its Greenville, South Carolina office as a partner in the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy Department.
“Harriet’s work navigating special asset and creditors’ rights litigation reinforces the services we provide to clients regionally,” said Frank C. Williams III, Fox’s Greenville office managing partner. “We are thrilled to have her on board.”
Wallace represents lenders and creditors in a range of litigation, workouts and transactions. She also works with creditors in all areas of special asset litigation, including lien property disputes, mortgage foreclosures and Uniform Commercial Code violations.
With a strong background handling commercial transactions, Wallace regularly advises clients on negotiations, loan documentation, loan modifications, forbearance agreements and settlement documents. As a licensed title agent, she has handled a number of SBA loan closings and frequently guides clients through complex title issues.
Wallace serves as president of the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association and as a barrister for the J. Bratton Davis Bankruptcy Inn of Court. She is a member of the Independent Bankers Association of South Carolina, Greater Greenville Exchange Club and the Palmetto Land Title Association. Wallace is also in her second term as president of Centre Stage-South Carolina.
She earned her J.D. from the University of South Carolina and her B.S. and B.A. from the College of Charleston.
Wallace was previously a shareholder in the Greenville office of Turner Padget.
