Four More Manufacturing Companies Join OpExChange

OpExChangeThe OpExChange grew by four manufacturing companies in the last few weeks. Three of these are from the Upstate area and one is from the Metrolina region. There are now 116 sites in this peer benchmarking group.

UPSTATE ADDITIONS

ERA-CONTACT: Since 2009, era-contact USA has served North America as the world market leader for electrical railway couplings, as production specialists for electrical contacts and contact systems and as an innovative system supplier for high-tech products in the sector of cable assemblies and control cabinets. Since 2017 their production plant in Liberty, South Carolina has in particular established greater proximity to their customers on the North American continent. From the start they have always offered top quality, with a range of products and services tailored to customers’ needs, from design to manufacturing.

PROPER POLYMERS – Proper group, located in Piedmont, SC, is a premium manufacturer of complex tooling and high-performance polymer products in the automotive, lighting, and industrial markets. Proper Polymers also offers sub-assembly and modular-build capability.

TUFFALOY – Tuffaloy Products, Inc. is a stocking manufacturer of standard and custom resistance welding consumables and accessories. Their 45,000 square foot, ISO 9001 certified facility is located in Greer, SC. With expertise in both resistance welding and supply chain, Tuffaloy ensures cost effective solutions readily available to support their customer's production needs.

METROLINA ADDITION

Stanley Black & Decker – Stanley Black & Decker is a global provider of hand tools, power tools, electronic security solutions, and engineered fastening systems. Their 345,000 square foot facility located in Fort Mill, SC began production in 2018. This site produces both consumer and professional power tools.

Stanley Black & Decker is the fourth company to join from the Metrolina region in the past two months.
