GRAND OPENING EVENT SUCCESS
[Easley, SC., Dec. 1, 2020] Chamber of Commerce Representative, Cindy Hopkins joined members of the Easley Place Senior Living leadership team to celebrate the grand opening of a new senior living concept, a hospice neighborhood called The Evergreen.
The Evergreen is located within The Park, an assisted living facility on the campus of care at Easley Place. The Evergreen will provide a unique kind of care that focuses on the quality of life for individuals who are experiencing a life-limiting illness.
“We have designed this space to provide a comforting ambiance for the residents in our care and their families. We are excited to be able to work collaboratively with our local hospice partners to ensure that our residents are living each day to the fullest and with dignity” stated Matthew Arledge, Assistant Executive Director at Easley Place.
The Evergreen offers all-private suites with comfortable furnishings, each with in-room, accessible showers, a family lounge and a support center, grief support programs and a partnership with Second Wind Dreams – an organization that helps individuals fulfill a life-long wish or dream.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are not encouraging a large volume of visitors; however, we can provide information and virtual tours should anyone be interested in learning more” stated Tyler Center, community relations director at Easley Place.
