Private school for students with autism, ADD/ADHD and other learning difficulties named among Top 3 ‘Best Special Education Private Schools’ in SC
GREENVILLE, S.C. — Recently named among the Top 3 “Best Special Education Private Schools” in South Carolina by Private School Review, Einstein Academy in Greenville announced today the addition of 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade classes beginning with the 2019-2020 school year. The expansion means the school will now house every grade from 1st through 8th.
“After 15 years of successfully serving students in grades 4 through 8, we are proud to welcome children in 1st through 3rd grades to provide the educational support they need during these critically formative years,” said Jim Bennett, Co-founder of Einstein Academy and Chairman of the Board of Directors. “We will also add additional resources to our team in order to maintain our commitment to provide each student with the individualized attention and small class size that is the foundation of Einstein Academy.”
Since 2005, the school’s vision has been to offer students with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADD/ADHD), Dyslexia, Central Auditory Processing Disorder and other learning difficulties a chance to learn in a personalized, accelerated and non-traditional program that focuses on academic achievement, responsible behavior and lifelong learning. The school achieves these goals through use of the following standards:
- Compassionate and talented Special Education teaching staff
- Individualized and self-paced curriculum
- Small class size
- Strategic daily physical activity
- Structured daily schedules
“Think of Einstein Academy as a working IEP school – a school built around your child’s needs from the moment they arrive so we can minimize stress factors and focus on giving students the support, information and tools they need to learn,” Bennett said.
Private School Review recently named Einstein Academy No. 3 on its list of the Top 10 Special Education Private Schools for the 2018-2019 school year.
