DP3 Architects, an architecture firm based in Greenville, SC specializing in community, higher education, hospitality, and interior design, has been named one of the Best Places to Work in South Carolina.
Companies who earn this distinction are chosen in partnership with the publishers of SC Biz News and the Best Companies Group. Now in its 17th year, the list is comprised of organizations who excel in 8 focus areas including work environment, pay and benefits, leadership and planning, and overall engagement.
“It’s one thing to win design awards, but this recognition is particularly special,” said Brian Thomas, principal and CEO. “Most cultures fall from the top down, our strength is that ours is grown from the bottom up. Our team has truly shaped our culture and our leadership is here to help support that.”
The Best places to Work list features 119 companies across the state that underwent a two-part survey process to be eligible for this honor. This included an in-depth evaluation on workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and processes, and demographics and an anonymous employee satisfaction survey. Based off survey results, final scores are determined and the final rankings for the 2022 Best Places to Work in South Carolina will be announced at the award ceremony in Columbia on August 18th.
“We have always strived to create a strong family culture at DP3 Architects,” said Mike Pry, principal and Community Studio Leader. “Leadership is not about being in charge, but about taking care of those IN our charge. Consistently raising team members up and nurturing their professional growth has been the cornerstone of our firm’s evolution and success.”
As an architecture firm going into its 4th decade, DP3 Architects strives to embody its core values of People | Places | Purpose. The firm is grateful for this distinction and will continue to foster a workplace culture of collaboration and growth.
