CHARLESTON, SC and GREENVILLE, SC August 18, 2020 - Thomas & Hutton is pleased to announce Doug Foster and Josh Shealy have passed the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control approved Certified Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control (CEPSCI) qualifying exam.
The CEPSCI Program educates field personnel on the proper installation, maintenance and inspection of erosion prevention and sediment control measures at construction sites. Sediment-laden runoff prevention protects our rivers, creeks, and streams, and is a trademark of quality construction.
Doug Foster is an Engineering Technician in the Thomas & Hutton Charleston office with 40 years of experience in the field of civil engineering. As a CEPSCI inspector, he currently inspects the Dominion Energy Port Access Gas Relocation 12” and 16” Gas Mains. He also assists the environmental, civil and water resources design teams in their projects preparing plans for the construction phase. Foster joined Thomas & Hutton in 2014.
Josh Shealy is a Designer in the Thomas & Hutton Greenville office. His current projects include Harrington Subdivision in Greenville, Camping World Expansion in Spartanburg, and McCraney project in Duncan. He also does field inspections as a field representative as needed for Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan Inspections and communicates with owners and contractors. Shealy joined Thomas & Hutton in 2018.
