Tigerville, SC – (May 21, 2019) North Greenville University’s top-ranked Crusaders are just two wins away from the NCAA Division II College World Series. NGU will host Catawba College in the NCAA II Southeast Super Regional at Ray and Bea Dillard Field at Ashmore Park May 24-25 at 7801 N. Tigerville Road in Tigerville.
The winner of this best-of-three series advances to the World Series in Cary, NC, June 1-8. The Crusaders have already won the Conference Carolinas regular season race, swept through the conference tournament championship, and advanced through the Southeast Regional.
Coach Landon Powell’s squad will be in action against the Catawba Indians at 8 p.m. Friday, May 24, and 4 p.m. Saturday, May 25. If necessary, Game 3 will be played at 8 p.m. Saturday night.
Admission Tickets for each day of the Super Regional are $12 for adults, $5 for seniors 65 and older, $5 for children ages 3-10, and free for children ages 2 and under. The entire NGU Family is invited to come out and witness history being made on the NGU diamond.
