GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Compassus hospice program serving Greenville moved last week to a new office space at 16 Mills Avenue, Suite 6, in Greenville, South Carolina. The program will serve patients and families in Anderson, Greenville, Greenwood, Laurens, Oconee and Pickens counties.
“We are committed to providing care for our patients wherever they call home, whether in their own home, an assisted living facility or nursing home,” said Edith Riddlespurger, executive director of Compassus – Greenville. “Our new office will provide better access to our services with the purpose of helping more community members experience the highest possible quality of life and benefit from more meaningful moments surrounded by friends and family.”
The mission of Compassus is to provide high-quality and compassionate hospice care to improve quality of life for patients and their families. The supportive care team, which consists of physicians, nurses, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and volunteers, works together to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of their patients.
Hospice is the original comprehensive approach to health care. No other health care sector is required to address all aspects of a patient’s and family’s health and well-being.
