Code Ninjas Introduces New Program for Young Learners

Code Ninjas JR Enables Children as Young as 5 to Learn Coding Fundamentals Through Play

Tega Cay, South Carolina– (Oct. 15, 2019) – Code Ninjas, a coding and STEM learning center in Tega Cay, has launched a new program to reach an even younger audience. The Code Ninjas JR program focuses on teaching 5- to 8-year-olds how to code with a fun, hands-on curriculum focused on helping them gain STEM, logic, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Code Ninjas JR brings together the award-winning kids’ coding platform, codeSpark Academy, along with the hands-on experience unique to Code Ninjas that incorporates robotics, electronics and STEM activities. Code Ninjas Tega Cay is one of the first locations in the country to offer the Code Ninjas JR program, which is the most comprehensive and fun-filled coding experience available to younger children.

“We are thrilled to be one of the first centers to offer this innovative new program,” said owner Christina Lazar. “We’re excited to open our center to younger students so that we can continue to share the world of coding, robotics, STEM and hands-on learning to an even larger audience. I know that the work that we are doing is going to have a lasting impact. These “Ninjas” are going to become the problem solvers of the future!”

Code Ninjas is already known for teaching children ages 7-14 how to code by building their own video games in its CREATE program. With the addition of the JR program, kids ranging from 5 to 14 can now learn, play, and grow alongside their peers in the center’s state-of-the-art dojo. Code Ninjas also offers additional programs, such as camps and monthly kids’ night out events.
