CCT Business Training Partners with Veterans ASCEND
Partnership will provide integrated training and job opportunities for veterans
UPSTATE, South Carolina, February 19, 2019 (0800) – CCT Business Training, a B2B training provider located in Greenville, is partnering with Veterans ASCEND to provide integrated, seamless training and employment opportunities to military veterans. Under the terms of the partnership, CCT will provide technical training for certification, and Veterans ASCEND will provide connection to employers.
This partnership, which becomes effective immediately, allows veterans to obtain the technical certifications necessary to boost an existing career or transition to a new career. “We understand the needs and challenges of changing careers,” said Larry Granville, owner of CCT Business Training, “and we can work with each veteran to design a training program that is relevant to their career goals and objectives.”
Veterans ASCEND works diligently to bring veterans and employers together. A veteran can work simultaneously with CCT and Veterans ASCEND to get an immediate jump on employment. “We know time is important,” said Stacey Wiggins, co-founder and COO of Veterans ASCEND. “The less time it takes a veteran to find a civilian career, the better for the veteran, their family, and their community.”
CCT Business Training has provided B2B training solutions in the Upstate and surrounding areas for more than 20 years. Students can use federal funding from the VA or state funding sources to pay for training.
