Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union (CFFCU) broke ground on their new branch, located in Mauldin, South Carolina, to better meet the needs of current members and expand their service in the Upstate.
CFFCU’s new branch will be located behind the CVS Pharmacy at the intersection of West Butler Road and Ashmore Bridge Road. The branch is set to open in early spring 2022.
“Carolina Foothill’s decision to build a sixth branch aligns with our goal to continue improving services for our members and communities,” Scott Weaver, president and chief executive officer at CFFCU, said. “We serve members in a multitude of ways and while more and more members are banking digitally with us, we understand the importance of a physical branch for more consultative services. Adding a branch to this area of Mauldin will make accessing our services even easier for our members.”
As a local credit union, Carolina Foothills seeks to expand their footprint in the Upstate of South Carolina and advance their goal of providing free financial literacy in their community. The new Mauldin location will serve an already large portion of membership that lives in the area and provide an alternative banking option for current residents.
CFFCU will announce details regarding the new branch such as opening date, location hours and employment opportunities as plans develop. For more information about the Mauldin location, visit www.carolinafoothillsfcu.coop or call 1.800.922.4403.
