Cargo was applauded for its exceptional work in video production by winning a total of twelve awards at the 44th annual Telly Awards. The Telly Awards honors excellence in video and television across all screens and is judged by leaders from some of the world’s most notable video platforms, television, streaming networks, and production companies. This was a record-breaking year with nearly 13,000 entries from some of the most respected advertising agencies, television stations, production companies, and publishers from across the globe.
Cargo’s “That’s an 11” campaign struck gold for Branded Content in the B2B Campaign category. The six-episode video series was created for Lenovo with the goal of helping Lenovo stand out in a crowded channel space where partners represent numerous brands. The series showcased the advantages of Windows 11 for both employees and IT decision-makers. It used real-world scenarios to demonstrate the superiority of Lenovo and Windows 11 over other brands in a space where the fight for mindshare is never-ending.
In addition to Cargo’s gold-winning production with Lenovo promoting Windows 11, Cargo was also recognized for its “Do the Unthinkable” campaign with a gold and silver Telly Award within the Online Commercial Branding and Promotional categories. The campaign was fueled by the concept that ThinkBook allows users to innovate from everywhere, breakthrough from anywhere, and overcome anything—ultimately, empowering our audience to “do the unthinkable.” In collaboration with Cultivator Labs, “Fresh Paint” won a gold and silver award for craft in Videography/Cinematography, and Directing, respectively. It also won a silver for Online Commercial within the Computers/Information Technology category. This video features a young programmer, dedicated to his career and community. He teams up with a local street artist, using ThinkBook to push the boundaries of innovation to revitalize their community—ultimately, attracting more business for everyone.
Further, Cargo was awarded several Telly Awards for two videos produced for ClimeCo, a sustainability advisory company that creates purpose-built solutions for clients seeking to achieve their sustainability goals and restore nature. One video, titled “A Plastic Free Coastline,” was recognized with a gold award for Branded Content in the CSR category and silvers for Branded Content in the Sustainability, Short Form Documentary, and Cause Marketing categories. The impactful video, shot in Cambodia, shares the benefits and impact of ClimeCo’s Plastic Credit Program. It demonstrates its impact on the environment and the economy by highlighting the required solutions to build waste management infrastructure for the removal of plastic in the environment at scale. ClimeCo’s “Restoring Ecosystems to Drive Climate Impact” was also recognized for silver and bronze for Branded Content within the CSR and General B2B categories. This film showcases how nature-based solutions can go beyond sustainably managing natural landscapes or removing carbon. By connecting communities, governments, and other organizations, ClimeCo seeks to make fundamental, impactful changes that no one group can do alone.
