Greenville, S.C. – Greenville-based full-service marketing communications firm BRIGHT+CO Marketing has been honored with multiple top awards from the South Carolina chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA). PRSA Mercury Awards honor and celebrate exceptional work done by PR practitioners in the past year.
Winning in every category for which it entered work, the agency earned Mercury Awards of Excellence (the highest possible awards for PR campaigns) in the category of events and observance of seven or fewer days for the launch of the Rotary Club of Greenville’s Kringle Holiday Village (a pro bono account) and in the category of events and observance of seven or more days for a season opening campaign for a local sports team. BRIGHT was also honored with a Silver Wing Award (the highest honor for a single campaign element) for a poignant video celebrating the heightened importance of being together as a community post-pandemic. Finally, the firm won a Mercury Award of Merit in integrated communication for its work in concepting, developing and launching the City of Greenville’s From Here You Can Change the World economic development campaign and branding platform.
Mercury and Silver Wing awards are given annually through a rigorous judging and scoring system based on the quality of work, creativity, research, planning, implementation and results achieved. All award submissions are judged by PR professionals outside the state to ensure fairness and anonymity. BRIGHT earned high points in each category for its thorough research and planning methodology, strategic planning, creative tactics and media relations outcomes.
“As a true full-service agency, BRIGHT prides itself on delivering great work across all facets of marketing and using the top talent we have in-house to drive innovative, research-based and outcome-driven solutions for our clients,” said BRIGHT+CO Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Sutton. “These Mercury Awards demonstrate not just our considerable prowess in the PR space, but in the power of our truly integrated approach. We do things a little differently and go deeper than other agencies, and it shows not just in the results that we get, but in the fact that we won in every category for which we submitted work.”
