Clemson, SC, February 16 – This past Saturday the Blue Ridge Council, Boy Scouts of America held its annual Clemson Day celebration for Scouts that participated in the Popcorn program. Athletes from the Clemson athletic programs hosted the event with a variety of activities including soccer scrimmages, volleyball practices, and a game of ultimate frisbee against the Clemson Football team. Over 350 Blue Ridge Council Scouts, siblings, and parents joined in on the fun inside the Clemson Indoor Practice Facility.
The Blue Ridge Council offers multiple Scouting programs to the Upstate of South Carolina that support leadership development, physical fitness, environmental awareness, and a sense of adventure.
