Greenville, SC – Better Business Bureau® serving Upstate South Carolina is pleased to announce the appointment of David Mitchell, Vice President, Group Account Director at Erwin Penland and Company, as Chairman and Dorothy Freeman Self, CEO of DFS Creative Concepts, as Vice- Chairman of the Better Business Bureau® Local Advertising Review Program Committee.


The purpose of LARP is to promote the truthfulness and accuracy of advertising and enhance public confidence through voluntary means. This industry self-regulation program is approved by the American Advertising Federation (AAF) and the International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB). The LARP is implemented by the BBB of the Upstate and the American Advertising Federation Greenville.

messages they see are both truthful and accurate," said Mitchell. "As a marketer, I have an
