BBB Education Foundation Hosting Savvy Senior Workshop

Better Business Bureau® Education Foundation “BBBEF” is hosting a Savvy Senior Workshop on Thursday, May 30 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm at the Five Forks Library located at 104 Sunnydale Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29681.

BBBEF’s Savvy Seniors Program educates and provides preventative tips to seniors on how to spot and avoid identity theft and scams. The program is focused on empowering seniors living and working in BBB's service areas with the information they need to remain protected against the personal and financial threats that exist to take advantage of this demographic.

At the event, seniors will learn about scams and will receive the latest tips on how to spot scams and identity theft threats before they become a victim. Education materials will be available with the necessary identity theft steps should they become a future victim of identity theft and information on the latest scams affecting seniors within the communities that the BBB Education Foundation serves.

To register, call 864-242-6905 or register online by May 27, 2019.
