As the newest member of the BANDWAGON team, Klafczynski brings a unique set of eyes to the company. Upon graduating Kent State University with a doctorate in philosophy, Klafczynski’s past experience includes working with high profile clients such as Facebook, decades of front-end-full-stack web development and basic vendor security clearance within the cyber-security arena.
“Kim’s extensive tech background and years of experience will be a great asset in helping improve ticket sales for venues across the country,” said Harold Hughes, Founder and CEO of BANDWAGON. “We are excited to have her join the team and help us continue to reach out to more clients and more venues.”
Along with bringing years of experience working in the tech world, Klafczynski’s background also consists of familiarity with being a young entrepreneur in the sports industry. Klafczynski is the co-founder of Silicon Beach Sports Leagues, an organization that coordinates events, tournaments and leagues in the Los Angeles community as a way to network and stay active.
“BANDWAGON is a company that more venues across the nation should be utilizing,” said Klafcynski. “I am thrilled to be apart of this team and use my knowledge of the sports tech industry to help this business grow and reach its full potential.”
BANDWAGON tracks qualitative customer data for ticketed events through a proprietary blockchain database that monitors each ticket transaction. Event owners can track the economics of each ticket and stay informed of the end user who ultimately attends the event. Its core product, Stadium Identity Management Platform, is built for the sports sector such as professional sports organizations and college athletic departments. Stadium Identity Management helps owners identify each fan in attendance so that personalized game day experiences can be delivered. BANDWAGON is a technology startup with investment from Blue Vista Ventures and the Black Angel Tech Fund and is growing with support from the Founder Institute Incubator and the Capital Factory Accelerator.
