Greenville, South Carolina – Ballentine Equipment Company, Inc. announces the selection of Laura Bright as the new Director of Marketing. She brings 30+ years of marketing, communications and corporate operations experience in multiple industries including hospitality and healthcare.
After relocating to the Upstate in 2017, Bright began working with Ballentine Equipment Company, providing marketing services as a contract employee. On June 1, 2018, she was named Director of Marketing, responsible for marketing, branding, public relations and corporate communications.
Prior to joining Ballentine, Bright was the Senior Vice President of Marketing at the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, where she worked for four years. She owned a boutique marketing firm, Bright Partner Inc. for three years, specializing in both marketing and business development for her clients.
Her restaurant and hospitality experience includes positions as Corporate Director of Marketing for Charleston-based restaurant group, Maverick Southern Kitchens; Club Marketing Manager of the Kiawah Island Club; and Dining Room Manager of Commander’s Palace restaurant in New Orleans, Louisiana. She also has experience in healthcare marketing and hospital administration.
Laura is a graduate of Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications.
