(Greenville, SC) – auroHOTELS welcomes new Director of IT, Lenny King.

King has a comprehensive knowledge of IT with more than 15 years’ experience, specializing in hospitality, with brands such as Marriott and Hilton. At auroHOTELS, King will build a comprehensive IT strategy, monitoring and enhancing cyber security, managing hotel WiFi and bandwidth, deploying systems to improve overall productivity, increasing automation, flow and reporting. He and his team will support the corporate headquarters and the properties in the field.

Born and raised in Missouri, King began his career with Intrawest Resorts, managing new property infrastructure and technology systems. King spent the majority of his professional life in Florida and Hawaii, supporting various hotels and resorts including Hilton Daytona (Florida), PGA National (Florida), Turtle Bay Resort (Hawaii), and Marriott Waikoloa (Hawaii). Most recently King worked on the restaurant side of hospitality at Taco Johns…the originator of the world famous, “Taco Tuesday.” He was pleased to have the opportunity to return to the work he loves most, hotels.

King was drawn to Greenville, SC because he recognized that it offers a big city feel and perks, without the downside of a big city. In addition, Greenville’s surrounding areas boast incredible outdoor recreation, perfect for an avid fisherman and kayaker. More importantly, auroHOTELS’ culture resonated with King, particularly the importance of a spirit to serve with true southern hospitality.
CFO, Luke Finlay, said “We are excited to add Lenny’s years of industry experience to our existing IT team. Under Lenny’s leadership the company plans to enhance its technology systems and security, and to continue to provide robust IT support to its managed hotels, as well as its regional and corporate teams.”
