Stacey Bevill, founder and CEO of Greenville-based Ask and Receive Coaching (a division of Ask and Receive, Inc.), has added another professional designation – HeartMath® Certified Trainer – to her long list of professional credentials. This is Bevill’s third certification from the HeartMath® Institute, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people to create and maintain a state of operational flow as they move through their daily challenges. She earned the prestigious HeartMath® Certified Coach and the Stress & Well-Being Assessment Provider designations last spring. Bevill is one of a select few in South Carolina with HeartMath® credentials.

HeartMath is an evidence-based system that teaches heart-centered self-regulation and resilience-building skills. By practicing these easy to learn tools and techniques, individuals learn to take charge of their mental, emotional and physical systems. The HeartMath® Certified Trainer program provides training and license to deliver The Resilience Advantage™, a best-in-class, science-based workshop used by law enforcement, first responders, major hospital systems, Fortune 500 companies, the US Navy and private trainers and consultants worldwide.

“HeartMath research-based techniques help people increase their capacity for resilience. This aligns with my mission for Ask and Receive Coaching, which is to provide services that create an environment that promotes cooperation, communication and improved quality,” said Bevill.

Bevill noted that companies provide HeartMath training for their employees to boost performance, as well as refine communication skills, enhance decision-making and creativity, strengthen personal and professional relationships, and reverse the negative impact stress has on health and quality of life. “Those who go through HeartMath training typically see improvements in sleep, the ability to maintain composure in challenging environments, quick judgment, adaptive thinking, and the capacity to reset after tough experiences,” she said.
