Greenville, SC — Verdae Development, Inc. (VDI), the master developer for the 1,100-acre integrated community of residences and businesses known as Verdae, announced today the appointment of Hunter Gibson to its board of directors. Gibson replaces Paul Goldsmith, who faithfully served on the board since its inception in 2005.
"Each member of our board is actively engaged in furthering the mission and growth of this unique project. After an extensive search, Hunter was selected based on his proven leadership skills, broad management experience, and solid real estate development background,” said Tim Reed, chairman of the board for VDI. “We are honored to have Hunter join us.”
Gibson graduated magna cum laude from Wofford College with a Bachelor of Arts in Finance. He co-manages Standard Capital Partners, a real estate development business specializing in multi-family properties throughout the Southeast. Actively engaged in the community, Gibson has served in various campaign roles with the United Way of Greenville County for more than 15 years.
