Upstate IFMA Golf Tournament at Cliffs Valley to Benefit Miracle Hill Ministries

GREENVILLE, SC (January 22, 2018) – The Upstate chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) has chosen Miracle Hill Ministries as the beneficiary of their charity golf tournament to be held May 22, 2018 at the Cliffs Valley golf course in Travelers Rest, South Carolina.

“We value partnering with the community to benefit a local charity. Giving back is the key to growing and bettering our community, IFMA and local charities,” said tournament director and Upstate IFMA member Chad Tydings. “We allow our members to submit suggestions and vote on a charity, and this year it was a unanimous ‘yes’ to support Miracle Hill Ministries.”

The tournament will be held at The Cliffs Valley Course at 250 Knightsridge Rd. on Tuesday, May 22, 2018, with registration opening at 8:30 a.m. and a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Upstate IFMA’s most anticipated event of the year draws members from all industries as well as golf enthusiasts from across the region for a day of golf, food, games and prizes. Golfers will have a chance to play a private course that otherwise would not be accessible to them and to support an organization that has been meeting the needs of the Upstate’s homeless since 1937.

“Miracle Hill cares for more than 650 children and adults every day and operates nearly a half million square feet of facility space in our homeless shelters and addiction recovery centers across the Upstate, so the funds raised through IFMA’s charity golf tournament will be a tremendous support to us as we seek to care for the vulnerable and broken in our community,” said Tony McJunkin, Director of Facilities at Miracle Hill Ministries.

Early bird registration for the tournament is open through the end of January, but golfers and teams can register up through the day of the tournament. Upstate IFMA is also seeking individuals and businesses that would like to sponsor the tournament and/or provide prizes. Registration and more information is available at or by calling 864.430.8234.
