Greenville, S.C.—August 31, 2017—United Community Bank has chosen fifteen of its emerging leaders for its 2017 Leadership Academy, a professional development program. Seven Greenville-based bankers have been selected for the program, which includes team members from around the four-state United Community Bank footprint.

The second-year class includes United employees nominated by senior management throughout the Bank’s footprint. Members will participate in key meetings and leadership roundtables with United’s executive management. Members will also participate in Clemson University’s Center for Corporate Learning Mini MBA program in Greenville, S.C. as well as complete a project component. Sessions take place once a month for nine months with a graduation celebration upon completion.
