Firm welcomes Katie M. Brown to Greenville, S.C. & Allison N. Harrell to Charlotte, N.C.
Charlotte, N.C. and Greenville, S.C. – Nexsen Pruet continues to expand its presence in the Carolinas with the addition of two Associates. Katie M. Brown, based in Greenville, S.C., focuses her practice on employment-related issues while Allison N. Harrell, based in Charlotte, N.C., focuses her practice on corporate law.

About Katie M. Brown
Katie comes to the firm after working as an associate in a regional law firm’s Greenville office, where she focused her practice on the defense of governmental entities, businesses, and individuals in governmental liability, civil rights, premises liability, and business litigation. Katie earned her undergraduate degree, cum laude, from Wofford College and her law degree, cum laude, from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While attending law school, Katie served as an Articles Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal and was inducted into the Order of the Wig and Robe. She also served as a research assistant and participated in the law school’s Federal Litigation Clinic.
About Allison N. Harrell
Allison is an Associate in Nexsen Pruet's Charlotte office, where she concentrates her practice in the areas of corporate law and economic development.
Having lived in Germany for several years, Allison is passionate about helping international companies, particularly those from Germany, establish and grow operations in the Carolinas. She is very involved in the international business community in Charlotte. Allison clerked with Nexsen Pruet in 2017 before recently joining the firm full-time immediately upon graduation from Emory University. While at Emory, she earned her J.D. from the School of Law and an M.B.A in Corporate Finance from the Goizueta Business School. She served as Managing Editor of the Emory International Law Review, as well as worked as a Student Attorney at the Turner Environmental Law Clinic.
