Hubbell Lighting, a world leader in solid-state lighting and controls solutions, announced today that it has hired Michael McCullough as Director of PR.
McCullough is responsible for developing and activating strategies to help Hubbell Lighting tell a consistent, timely and relevant story. He will engage with key media and community influencers to evangelize how Hubbell Lighting is consistently breaking barriers in efficiency, output and control to help customers reduce energy use and maintenance costs, while incorporating and leading the latest trends in lighting. He will also coordinate with Hubbell Lighting's distinct brands across the entire portfolio to ensure all campaigns are aligned with the company's strategic goals.
McCullough established his expertise during 15 years with Edelman, the world's largest public relations agency. In the Corporate Practice, McCullough promoted and protected his client’s brands to propel business growth.
He specialized in strategy and activation to establish brand-evolution and thought leadership. He has a history of success developing and activating content strategies for his client's campaigns that synchronized where, how, and when they told stories in traditional, hybrid, owned and social media channels. His experience included representation of Fortune 100 clients such as General Electric, Lockheed Martin, and Wal-Mart.
