GREENVILLE, S.C. (May 30, 2017) - All are welcome to celebrate the start of summer with the Greenville County Democratic Party’s free block party on June 13, 2017 from 5-9 PM in the Village of West Greenville at 1286 Pendleton Street.
The party will mark the end of a public campaign to select a new logo for the GCDP. Voting for the new logo is ongoing and the winner is determined by which of three logo suggestions raises the most money. The GCDP will unveil the new logo at the block party with a range of new merchandise options available for purchase. The logo campaign can be seen here: https://greenvilledemocrats.com/contribute/
The block party will feature live music by local favorite Darby Wilcox. Games for both kids and adults will be offered. A food truck and beer/wine will be available. Attendees are welcome to bring picnic food as well.
No tickets are required and the event is free. On-street parking is plentiful and additional lot parking will be available after 6 PM across the street from the outdoor venue. There is no alternative location or date in the case of rain; check the GCDP Facebook page if bad weather occurs.
