GREENVILLE, S.C.- iMAGINE Upstate is an annual festival designed to showcase pre-K – 12 education and career pathways in Science, Technology, Arts, Engineering and Math (STEAM) through fun, hands-on learning. This year’s festival will be held on April 7, 2018 from 11 AM to 5 PM and will feature over 70 exhibits and stage shows stretching along South Main Street from Fluor Field to August Street in the West End of Downtown Greenville.
Online applications are currently open for tented exhibit booths to be featured alongside sponsored exhibits. ScanSource is the title sponsor for the festival for the 4th consecutive year. Long-standing sponsors also include Bosch, Duke Energy, Michelin North America, Fluor, GE, Greenville Technical College, 3M and Lockheed Martin. The festival is seeking exhibitors with interactive, STEAM-focused activities for pre-K through 12th grade students. Applications can be found at www.imagineupstate.org and are due by January 31, 2018. Early Bird applications are due by December 1st.
"We are focused on providing high quality learning experiences that demonstrate a connection to real-world STEAM careers," said iMAGINE Upstate's Director Melissa Huff. "We are looking for interactive exhibits that expose students to a wide variety of STEAM fields that will spark their interest."
