GREENVILLE, S.C. – The RECON Network, an Upstate-based business focused on purpose-based career planning for veterans and military spouses, has scheduled its 2017 conference for October 5 at the Younts Center at Furman University.
Now in its third year, the event is unique in its format, where participating veterans of all ages are provided an interactive workshop to determine individual purpose, a predictive career assessment, and speakers in Entrepreneurship, Education and Career Planning. The event includes a number of local and statewide resources who will be on hand to talk with veterans and guide them in follow-up steps.
“For three years we’ve hosted this event in the Upstate and had wonderful feedback from our veteran attendees,” said Jordana Megonigal, CEO of The RECON Network. “This year, alongside some great local sponsors, we are excited to once again offer a unique take on career planning; that is, that every person is not only unique, but is also worthy of finding a job that fulfills them and their purpose in life.”
Registration for this event is open and free for veterans and military spouses, but is limited and filling quickly. Partners and sponsors of the event include the Upstate Warrior Solution, Warriors Working—a division of SmartWork Network, Greenville Tech, and ScanSource.
