Clemson Eye is pleased to announce the addition of Justin Roman, MD, to our team of doctors. Dr. Roman completed his bioengineering master’s degree at Clemson University and his medical degree at the University of New Mexico. After an ophthalmology residency at MUSC, Dr. Roman continued with a cornea fellowship under the tutelage of Drs. Kerry Solomon and Charlene Grice of Carolina Eyecare Physicians in Charleston, SC.
We are very excited to have Dr. Roman join us and offer his expertise in cornea, external disease, advanced dry eye, cataract and refractive surgery. Specialized procedures like corneal transplants, DMEK, DSEK, and cross-linking will also be his central focus. Dr. Roman will accept referrals and see patients in all of the Clemson Eye locations: Anderson, Clemson, Easley and Greenville.
Justin Roman is a competitive marathon runner (3x Boston Marathoner), who is excited about returning to the Upstate with his wife, Allison, a Greenville native, and their baby daughter, Riley.
