Synovus/NBSC today announced the appointment of Dixon Harrill Jr. as upstate region market executive, effective immediately. Harrill was previously regional president of Park Sterling Bank, which he joined as a de novo in Greenville in 2011. Harrill is located at the Synovus/NBSC office at 201 East McBee Avenue in Greenville.

Harrill has more than 35 years of experience leading regional, state, and multi-state banking teams upstate South Carolina and western North Carolina. He is a graduate of Furman University, National Commercial Lending School at University of Oklahoma, and Graduate Banking School of the South at Louisiana State University.
NBSC was founded in Sumter in 1906 and acquired by Synovus in 1995. NBSC is one of 26 banking divisions to be rebranded as Synovus in 2018.
