Christmas In Action Of Spartanburg Announces Inagural Monster Dash For October 27, 2017

Spartanburg, S.C. (August 2, 2017) – Christmas In Action announces the date of October 27, 2017 for our fall fundraiser, Monster Dash scheduled for 7 p.m. in downtown Spartanburg.

This inaugural event will feature a .10 fun run in Halloween costumes from the front of the Spartanburg Herald-Journal on East Main Street to R.J. Rockers Brewery along with live music by On The Rocks Band, drinks, dinner and silent auction. Funds raised from this event will benefit the work that Christmas In Action – Spartanburg a 501c3 performs through rehabilitation work for the elderly, disabled and otherwise disadvantaged homeowners of Spartanburg County.

“We’re excited to bring a fun Halloween themed event to Downtown Spartanburg to benefit the approximately 25% of our county that currently does not have decent housing,” said Lauren Rogers, Monster Dash event chairman.

Early bird tickets will go on sale August 11, 2017 and may be purchased via Eventbrite or at the Christmas In Action website, www.ciaspartanburg.org.
