Greenville, South Carolina – Ballentine Food Service Equipment company announces the selection of Tony Calvin as Director of Sales. Calvin brings extensive experience and leadership in the Food and Beverage Industry as well as in Commercial Food Service Equipment sales.
At the Omni Grove Park Inn, the historic, luxury resort in Asheville, North Carolina, Calvin spent 15 years in the resort’s restaurants, becoming the Dining Room Operations Manager. He then joined Harrah’s Cherokee Casino Resort, where he worked for 13 years becoming the Food and Beverage Director, a position he held for six years. At Holland & Associates, Calvin worked as a manufacturers’ agent selling commercial food service equipment throughout the Carolinas.
As Director of Sales, Tony Calvin will be responsible for leading a team of seven sales and sales support professionals, developing food equipment sales training programs, and participating on the senior management team of Ballentine.

Calvin is a graduate of Montreat College (Montreat, North Carolina) where he obtained a degree in Business Administration. He is a native of Candler, North Carolina where he resides with his family.
