Automation Engineering Company, one of the Southeast’s leading process automation and controls engineering firms, today announced an agreement with EVRAZ, North America to design and fabricate a new conveyance system for premium OCTG threaded drill pipe. The advanced tube transfer conveyance system will be engineered and built at AEC’s Greenville facility and shipped to EVRAZ Red Deer in Alberta, Canada.
Based in Chicago, EVRAZ North America is one of the world’s top producers of engineered steel products for the rail, energy and industrial segments. The Red Deer plant specializes in producing small diameter OCTG line pipe for U.S. and Canadian energy markets.
