Production, sales teams expand to support firm's record growth
Knoxville, Tenn. and Greenville, S.C. -- ARiES Energy, a Knoxville-based alternative energy installer, announced today that it has added three employees. Justin Parrish is the company’s first South Carolina representative, while Thomas Rose and Tim Chapman join ARiES’ Knoxville headquarters.
“We are adding staff to provide our growing customer roster with the unmatched customer service ARiES Energy is known for,” said Harvey Abouelata, ARiES president. “Justin’s knowledge of the South Carolina market is key to the success of our first expansion.”
South Carolina is ARiES’ first expansion market outside of its home state of Tennessee.
Justin Parrish was previously with a South Carolina solar sales company. As a sales representative, he will be responsible for all of ARiES’ South Carolina clients, and provide input on company growth and new hires in the future. He is based in the Greenville area.
“I joined ARiES because I am truly passionate about clean energy and very excited to join a team that is making such a difference in energy independence,” said Justin Parrish, ARiES sales representative. “ARiES has developed a great resume of providing clean energy solutions in Tennessee, and I am anxious to help continue that great work here in South Carolina with our favorable incentives. This is a growing economy with vast opportunities for South Carolina businesses.”
Thomas Rose has been named managing director of key accounts for ARiES Energy. He worked extensively with major companies and the U.S. Department of Energy in the energy efficiency and lighting industries prior to joining ARiES.
“Tom, as a former business owner, understands the drive needed to grow a company like ARiES into a major competitor,” said Abouelata. “He will be responsible for managing key accounts nation-wide.”
Rose in 1991 founded Matrix Installations in Knoxville. The company excelled in the lighting and control markets both commercial and high end residential, automation control systems, security, and engineered communication systems areas. It went through a successful acquisition after reaching $5 million in annual sales.
“Joining ARiES will allow me to add solar energy and biogas to my offerings to previous and new customers and clients,” said Thomas Rose, managing director of key accounts at ARiES Energy. “I'm excited to be part of a growing industry and I look forward to bringing my 20 years of experience and knowledge to ARiES.”
Tim Chapman, an installer, is the second addition to ARiES installation and design team this year. He was previously with a local heating and air conditioning installation, maintenance and repair firm. He also has prior experience with sustainable agriculture and organic farming.
“Tim’s experience in construction, HVAC and energy audits allows him to assess our customer’s energy-efficiency needs immediately and build a quality product that will be in use for decades to come,” said Abouelata.
